  • Is there a cut-off time that I need to place my order by?
    You will need to place your order by Sunday evening, 9pm, to receive your delivery that week. Delivery & Collection Times Wednesday - Friday: 8.00am -4.00pm: o WEDNESDAY - West & South, Adelaide o THURSDAY - North, Adelaide Hills, Adelaide, o FRIDAY - East, West, Adelaide
  • What are your delivery fees?
    - Delivery fees are a flat rate of $15.00 (Adelaide metropolitan suburbs) for all orders under $150.00. Additional fees may apply for regional and country South Australia. - Delivery is FREE of charge for orders over $150.00. - Click and Collect is also available (FREE of CHARGE), direct from our factory at 2 Croydon Road, Keswick SA 5035.
  • What time will I receive my meals?
    The Eatwell team is out and about from the early hours of the morning delivering our freshly made meals right across South Australia households! Unfortunately, we can't guarantee an exact time of when our team will deliver your goods, but we can tell you it will be either the morning or afternoon. You will receive an SMS or email from our team, to advise you of when your delivery its on its way. Your meals have been packed in our recycled cardboard boxes, with a foil liner and ice-pack so that your meals are kept cool for longer. If you are not home, our drivers will leave your meals at the front door, or in a safe location at your property. Please ensure you provide us with specific instructions in the 'notes' section when you place your order online with us. Whilst we will always endeavor to provide prompt delivery of your order, any unforeseen delays once the products leave our premises, are beyond our control and does not enable an automatic cancellation of the order. During peak times, we appreciate your patience as we work through large volumes of orders. However, if an order has taken longer than you’d expect, please call us immediately on (08) 8293 4969 and we will track the order for you and let you know of its progress.
  • How long can meals stay outside for?
    Our boxes contain an ice-pack and insulated foil liner to keep your meals cold & fresh, for up to 4-6 hours outside (this may vary dependent on air temperature). When you arrive home, unpack your meals immediately into the fridge or freezer.
  • Do I need to be home for delivery?
    No. Your order is delivered in a refrigerated van, and your meals have been carefully packed in an insulated box that contains a foil liner and ice-pack to keep your meals cold & fresh, for up to 4-6 hours in a shaded area outside ( this may vary dependent on air temperature and weather conditions). When you arrive home, unpack your meals immediately and place them into the fridge or freezer. Your order will be left at your front door, gate or reception, unless you have provided us with specific delivery instructions in the 'notes' section when placing your order online.
  • Do you deliver to apartments, gated complexes, high-rise buildings and offices?
    Yes - we can still deliver to you. Please ensure you leave detailed 'delivery instructions' before completing your order online ( in the notes section), to ensure we have all the information we need to deliver your meals. This information may include - codes, buzzer, leaving your order at reception, front gates, etc. If you haven't left any specific instructions, our team will leave your order at the entrance of the building in the safest place possible. If our team is unable to access the apartment or office, based on the instructions you have provided, they will have to leave your delivery at the entrance of the building.
  • Are my meals delivered frozen?
    No at all! That's right, your meals are delivered fresh & chilled - not frozen. All of our meals are prepared fresh by our team of chefs on site at our production kitchen at Keswick. Your meals are delivered by a refrigerated vehicle and ready for you to enjoy as soon as you're ready. If you don’t plan to enjoy your meals by the use-by date, we encourage you to freeze them for up to 1 month. When you're ready to eat, defrost your meal by thawing it out in your fridge, simply heat and enjoy. Note: Please check the ingredients of your meal as we don't recommend freezing meals with salad ingredients ( for example lettuce, rocket, cucumber & dressings just to name a few).   • Is your packaging recyclable?
    Yes it sure is! Were passionate about being environmentally friendly, reducing our wastage and implementing a number of sustainable practices across our business to ensure that we make a difference! We're excited to say that the containers that are used to store your meals in, together with the cardboard boxes that your meals are delivered in are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable. Meal containers and cardboard boxes 100% recycle. Re-use or dispose as part of your normal recycling program, into your yellow kerbside bin. Insulated Foil Liner Our insulated foil liners can be re-used. Next time you're out about doing your food shopping, keep your refrigerated foods insulated. Line your environmentally friendly shopping bag with the foil liner, place your recently purchased fruit and vegetables within, and wrap/close. This may assist in helping to maintain temperature, until you get home. Ice-Sheet - 100% reusable - why not use as a cool pack for lunches, next time you're shopping or transporting meals. Simply place in your freezer and place on top of goods, to keep cool. - Alternatively, cut the bag open with a pair of scissors and pour the non-toxic solution into your garden bed or general waste bin. Rinse the bag clean with water and recycle the soft plastic bag at your local supermarket or council center - which accepts soft plastics for recycling.
  • Will you collect my used cardboard boxes or plastic containers ?
    Unfortunately no, due a number of health & safety reasons. We are unable to re-use cardboard boxes and meal containers, and encourage you to recycle them responsibly. The cardboard boxes that your meals are delivered in, together with the food containers are environmentally friendly and are 100% recyclable. Re-use or dispose as part of your normal recycling program, into your yellow kerbside bin.
  • How do I store my meals?
    Keep refrigerated, store at 4°C or below. Freeze within use by date. Consume within 1 day of opening. Once heated, do not reheat, refrigerate or freeze product. Once frozen, consume within 1 month. Do not consume if seal is damaged.
  • Can I freeze my meals?
    Yes - you sure can! All of our containers are freezable. Freeze within use by date Once frozen, consume within 1 month. Once defrosted, consume within 2 days. We don't recommend freezing any of our meals that contain salad-type vegetable ingredients in them ( for example - lettuce, rocket, cucumber, dressings, etc)
  • What happens if I change my mind after I have placed my order?
    ​Please select your meals carefully, as we do not accept returns if you change your mind or make an incorrect choice. After placing your order, please review your meals carefully and contact us immediately if a mistake has been made on (08) 8293 4969 or email us at sales@kitchenhandfood.com.au .
  • My product is damaged?
    If your product is damaged or different to what you purchased online, do not consume. Please contact us immediately on (08) 8293 4969 or email us at sales@kitchenhandfood.com.au to discuss. ​
  • Can I cancel my order?
    Please select your meals carefully, as we do not accept returns if you change your mind or make an incorrect choice. After placing your order please review your meals carefully and contact us immediately if a mistake has been made on (08) 8293 4969 or email us at sales@kitchenhandfood.com.au . ​ ​We want you to love our products so if you are not 100% satisfied, or your meal are different to what you purchased online, are damaged, or is otherwise not as expected, please contact us immediately to discuss.
  • Can I get a refund if my delivery is late?
    Whilst we will always endeavor to provide prompt delivery of your order, any unforeseen delays once the products leave our premises, are beyond our control and does not enable an automatic cancellation of the order. During peak times, we appreciate your patience as we work through large volumes of orders. However, if an order has taken longer than you’d expect, please call us immediately on (08) 8293 4969 and we will track the order for you and let you know of its progress. ​Refunds will not be given for late delivery outside our stipulated delivery time frames. Orders cannot be refunded once they are with our couriers for delivery.
